Epic Travel 2019 – Back to flow

Once upon a time, the travel was…

You might not know, but the travel was easy. We hopped on the flight to the overseas as if we took a train to the next town. You could purchase flight ticket swiftly by the iPhone and was affordable if you were prepared. The price of flight ticket was becoming cheaper and cheaper by the time the entire world stops moving because of the pandemic.

I will tell you, very roughly, about my final travel just before the world changes, when I moved one place to another almost every week. I went to meet with people and talk to them who live way far from where I am. I just went there rather than researching about their daily life and society they face. Talking was much faster than reading. Talking gave me richer perspective than text. It was effective way of knowing the world for me because, by that time, the world had become too complicated to grasp and live a life, unless I just go, see, and talk with the people in different context and think about it referring to my own experience. I knew every single encounter with other culture is different in each person, depending on who, when and how to see the world, and that experience never functions the same for everyone.

My epic travel started in September 2019 from the Atacama Desert, Northern Chile, then to Brazil and Europe, where I unexpectedly encountered the beginning of earth and the world feeling uncomfortable of its being.
